International SOS has been operating in Algeria since 2007, supporting clients who are mostly from the oil and gas, and construction industries. As part of the services we offer, we jointly operate two clinics with our partner RedMed – one in Adrar and one in Hassi Messaoud – as well as fully staffed medical sites in remote locations. We also provide occupational health services, and health and security consulting to organizations, including project and site health reviews, and crisis management support.

    Our clinic in Hassi Messaoud offers

    international-standards medical cares and a wide range of medical services at remote sites such as In Amenas and In Salah.

    The clinic is staffed by western-trained doctors and nurses with English, French and Arabic speaking abilities (on call 24/7). A fully-fitted ambulance is available 24/7 with tarmac access to Hassi Messaoud airport. We operate in accordance with international standards of medical care and apply international codes of clinical governance and ethics.


    Primary care services at the clinic include:
